Thai Silk Scarves

When you wear silk you wear something special. Our silk scarves are made by a friend of ours who has a small workshop in Northern Thailand employing 7 women. We use a light 3 ply yarn which is soft and has a wonderful sheen. The yarn is raw silk meaning once the yarn is spun it is used directly for weaving with no processing. Because of this there are many variations in the fabric, which is part of its natural beauty. Silk is renowned for it's wonderful ability to keep you warm when it's cool and cool when it's warm.
